Pork Oriental

Ingredients:

350 g pork tenderloin, cut into cubes
1 Tbsp. calamansi juice
1/4 cup chopped spring onion
1 Tbsp. garlic
1/2 tsp. sesame oil
3/4 tsp. iodized salt
1 Tbsp. corn oil
1Tbsp. chopped onion
1 cup water
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 cup cubed potato
1 cup cubed carrot
1/2 cup green bell pepper squares
1/2 cup banana blossoms
1 sachet PAL SWEET

Procedure:
  • Combine calamansi juice, spring onion, 1/2 Tbsp. garlic, sesame oil and 1/4 tsp. iodized salt. Add pork and marinate overnight.
  • Saut? 1/2 Tbsp garlic, onion and pork in hot oil. Cover and simmer over low fire until meat is tender or there is very little water left. Add water, remaining iodized salt and pepper.
  • Let boil and add potatoes, carrots, bell pepper, banana blossoms and simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Remove from fire, add PAL SWEET? and mix well.
Makes 6 servings.
